About Stevenson

RESTAURANTS AND BARS

El Rio Texicantina (Mon. – Thurs. 4 – 9 pm, Fri. – Sun. 11:30 am– 9 pm) is a Tex-Mex restaurant with great food, prices, and service on 2nd Street, which is the main drag in Stevenson.

Big River Grill (7 days 11:30 am – 9 pm), with a varied menu and good selection of Northwest wines and microbrews, is across from El Rio. Both places have small bars.

Walking Man Brew Pub (Wed. – Fri. 4 – 9 pm, Sat. 3 – 9 pm, Sun. 3 – 8 pm) serves excellent handcrafted beers and affordable, delicious food items. It is located across the railroad tracks in the gray building.

La Casa de Sabor (Mon. & Tue. 11 am – 2 pm, Wed. – Sat. 11 am – 8 pm, Sun. 10 am – 6 pm), one block up Russell and left, is a wonderful place for tacos, burritos, and other Mexican fare.

Andrew's Pizza (Tues. – Thurs. 11 am – 8 pm, Fri. & Sat. 11 am– 9 pm), on 2nd Street. Serves authentic hand-tossed New York-style pizza, salads, and beer on tap.

The 130 Bar & Grill (Mon. – Thu. 11 am – midnight, Fri. – Sat. 11 am – 2 am, Sun. 9 am – midnight), an excellent restaurant and bar just a block east of us on the waterfront, serves memorable meals in an attractive setting at affordable prices.

Jolinda's Coffee Roastery (Wed. – Thu. 7 am – 6:30 pm, Fri. – Sat. 7 am – 7:30 pm, Sun. 7 am – 6 pm), on Rock Creek Drive just past Main Street Convenience Store, offers specialty coffee, NW wines, in-house baked items, lunch, and miscellaneous healthy foods.

GROCERIES AND LIQUOR

A&J Select Market is on 2nd Street and is open from 7 am – 9 pm. Just west of the grocery is a 24-hour convenience store and gas station. The Tesero gas/service station in the center of Stevenson on 2nd Street also has diesel fuel.

Stevenson Liquor, (Mon. – Sat. 10 am – 6:00 pm) is just two blocks up Russell Street and left on 2nd Street.

HEALTH CENTERS

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital, located in Hood River, Oregon, is about 20 minutes away. Take Washington State Route 14 east, cross the Hood River Bridge, and follow the blue Hospital signs through the city.

Mid-Columbia Family Health Center, in Stevenson, is open Mon. – Fri. 9 am – 5 pm, Sat. 9 am – 1 pm. Take a right on Rock Creek Road at Main Street Market (the convenience store), and the clinic is about 1/4-mile on the right.
